Molybdenum selenide Nanoparticles
MoSe2 Nanoparticles were prepared using a hydrothermal method, and the morphology, structures of the as-prepared. MoSe2 Nanoparticles were investigated using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). In turn, the excellent dispersibility and biocompatibility of theMoSe2 Nanoparticles solution was verified by sedimentation experiments and MTT tests. Further, the tribological properties of deionized water (DI water) and seawater as lubricants were investigated and compared using a UMT-2 tribometer considering an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene stainless steel contact. The results revealed that DI water with MoSe2 Nanoparticles had more stability in terms of tribological properties. Finally, the tribological mechanism of the good lubrication effects of the MoSe2 nanoparticles in DI water was explored. The results of this study provide an effective support to facilitate further environmental lubricant.
