Samarium Oxide Powder

Samarium oxide is a highly insoluble thermostable samarium source, suitable for applications on glass, optics, and ceramics. The samarium oxide is prepared by thermal decomposition of samarium carbonate, nitrate, oxalate or sulfate or by burning the metal in air or oxygen at a temperature above 150 ° C. Samarium oxide forms salts after evaporation and crystallization by purity high (99.999%) solution of samarium oxide powder (Sm2O3) in mineral acids.
