Vanadium Carbide MXene Powder

V2C MXene Powder was the most interesting material, few reports on different applications such as lithium ion storage, aluminum rechargeable batteries, fuel cell applications, hydrogen storage, gas sensor non-polar, supercapacitors and nuclear applications such as uranium capture. The present work relates to the synthesis of  V2C MXene Powder by etching of the intermediate layer of aluminum (layer A) using HF. In detail, material properties have been investigated and electrochemical tests have been performed for supercapacitor applications. Although there are several papers on the synthesis of  V2C MXene Powder, it involves a different stoichiometry synthesized using a similar synthetic procedure involving ball milling of elemental materials followed by punching to create a pellet and heating the pellet to higher temperatures. . Our synthesis procedure involves a hot pressing procedure, which reduces the formation of mixed phases and oxides. As known, Vanadium carbide MXene Powder and tantalum carbide MXenes are more prone to oxide formation, as these mixed and phased oxide formations can affect electrochemical performance. To date, over 70 MXene materials have been reported that solve obvious problems in unique applications, such as electrode materials in energy storage and conversion, such as supercapacitors, batteries, power solar, fuel cells, in electronics such as contacts for electronic devices. , EMI displays, RF antenna, sensors and other environmental applications for water purification, etc.
