Diamond Nanopowder / Nanoparticles is used as a polishing material for the surface finish of watch sapphires, hard disks, and others. Detonation nanodiamond is used as a polishing material as well. Additionally, it can be used as a lubricant, for example, in motor oils. As an additive in galvanic chromium coatings, it increases the lifetime and surface hardness of the coated workpiece.
